The Marketing Committee (Chair: Brian Kelly) is responsible for promoting and enhancing the visibility of the organization. Activities include the development of brochures, arranging for display table at conferences, and promoting our publications. In addition, the Marketing Committee is charged with creating links to other organizations with a similar purpose of advocacy and action for professional practice, education, research, training and writing about social work with groups.
The committee members are: Amirthini Keefe, Jen Clements, Jennie Fleming, Maria Gandarilla, John Genke, Andrew Malekoff, Dorlisa Minnick, Vanessa Treadway, and Michael Wagner.

Call for Papers: Groupwork in Practice - The new Groupwork in Practice section of Groupwork will provide an opportunity to publish papers that are more descriptive of groupwork in practice, learn more here.
2017 Groupwork Student Essay Competition - Whiting and Birch are happy to announce the third Groupwork Essay Prize of $100.00. Student groupworkers are invited to submit an essay or paper on any aspect of their practice of groupwork. Any student on a first degree or masters program, or those who have graduated in 2016, may submit an essay or paper (maximum 5,000 words) for the prize.
