Se suele argumentar que el Trabajo Social de grupo como metodología no tiene una entidad propia, que se trata de una amalgama de teorías y técnicas procedentes de otras disciplinas. Sin embargo, tanto el desarrollo histórico de la práctica de TSG como los resultados de diferentes investigaciones muestran que el TSG sostiene en su método una serie de elementos que configuran una identidad singular respecto a otras estrategias de intervención grupal utilizadas por otras profesiones.

En este webinar, Dra. Belén Parra Ramajo, nos ofrecerá un webinar sobre lo elementos característicos y definitorios del Trabajo Social de grupo. Belén es doctora por la Universitat de Barcelona, licenciada en Antropología social y cultural por la Universitat de Barcelona y Diplomada en Trabajo Social por la Escola Universitaria de Treball Social ICESB. Es profesora en la Escuela de Trabajo Social de la Universitat de Barcelona desde hace 25 años, impartiendo las asignaturas Trabajo Social Grupal y Género, Diversidad sexual y Trabajo Social.Es investigadora del Grupo de Investigación e Innovación en Trabajo Social (GRITS) e investigadora colaboradora en el Grupo de Investigación consolidado en Intervenciones socioeducativas en la Infancia y la Juventud (GRISIJ).

It is often argued that groupwork as a methodology does not have its own entity, that it is an amalgam of theories and techniques from other disciplines. However, both the historical development of the practice of TSG and the results of different research show that Social WOrk with Groups holds in its method a series of elements with a unique identity with respect to other group intervention strategies used by other professions.

Dr. Belén Parra Ramajo, will offer us a webinar about the characteristic and defining elements of Social Work with Groups. Belén holds a PhD from the University of Barcelona, a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Barcelona and a Diploma in Social Work from the Escola Universitaria de Treball Social ICESB. She has been a lecturer at the School of Social Work at the University of Barcelona for 25 years, teaching Social Work with groups and Gender, Sexual Diversity and Social Work. She is a researcher in the Research and Innovation in Social Work Group (GRITS) and a collaborating researcher in the consolidated Research Group on Socio-educational Interventions in Childhood and Youth (GRISIJ).
