The Red Apple Chapter is honored to announce that Robina Niaz, the Founder and Executive Director of Turning Point for Women and Families in Queens (http://www.tpny.org) has agreed to meet with us to talk about using group work to support Muslim women and families affected by domestic violence in NYC. Robina is an immigrant, a survivor, a social worker, a community activist and a fierce advocate for women's rights. She was mentored by Katy Pappell, one of the founders of IASWG, so she has close ties to our organization. Robina's compassion, humanity and deep-seated commitment to her cause is inspiring and informative. We think this is one session you won't want to miss. Join us Sunday, December 10, 2017
