Western U.S. Chapter Educational Session: The Neurobiology of Safety and Belonging in GroupsWe are excited to share with you the news of our upcoming chapter meeting and our stellar guest speaker. Ruby Jo Walker, LCSW, will join us to lead a discussion on the neurobiology of creating safety, including how to offer cues of safety to others. The session will include some experiential as well as didactic information. Behaviors that are indicators of a lack of safety will be covered, as well as ways to support a sense of belonging with others. Ruby Jo leads trainings on neurobiology and recently worked with mental health practitioners in the Navajo Nation.
